Menu Plan Monday

This week I received my All You magazine.  I love All You.  If you are not familiar with it, it has tons of coupons (with an awesome index in the beginning to help you FIND the coupons), it has super fast to read articles, and has lots of helpful articles about beauty, fashion, kids and other mommy stuff.  It's a great magazine.  Plus, you can always find a great subscription price on-line or you can just go to Walmart and buy it.  I don't think it's carried anyplace else.

I like to stick my magazines in my G I A N T purse and read them in my spare time....like in the waiting room at the doctor's office.  This week, I finished the whole thing at the dentist office, waiting on Hannibal Lecter.  Fortunately, I found a great slow cooker recipe for pork carnitas.  I am anxious to try it. This should be a banner week for the kids....brinner, hashbrown casserole and Market Day!  They have not been big eaters lately, so I'm hoping this week's menu will be more exciting for them.

Make sure you check out Menu Plan Monday on http://www.orgjunkie.com/.  I found the Hashbrown Porkchop Casserole there.  What a great place to find inspiration.

Happy menu planning!

Brinner: Scrambled eggs with ham and cheese and pancakes
Hashbrown Porkchop Casserole (I plan on lightening this up with some lowfat ingredients)
Homemade Vegetable Beef Stew
Market Day!!  Tuesday our Market Day order arrives, so I'm thinking we'll pull something from there

  2. Let me know how those pork carnitas turn out! We've never had them before. What do you serve them with?

Here's my link, although our menu was kind of lame last week - michael is out of town, so there was a lot of eating out. BUT, I have a link for a great whole wheat waffle recipe on there.
