Date Night......or not

This is how date night started.  Momma put on some make up.  Straightened her hair.  Sprayed on some perfume.  Wait, I should back up. 

THIS is how date night started.  The boys packed for their sleepover.  Yeah!!  They were so excited.  Ewan wore his backpack all day long.  As we left our house he said "I am sooo happy for this sleepover!"

Not only should I back up, but I should clarify.  Date night also included another gal.  She is very cute, petite, blonde......well, she's 2.

As you can imagine, baby #3 does not get a lot of one on one time with mom and dad.  Sure she spends some time with us when the boys are in school, but that's time to run errands, do laundry and clean up messes.  So, we took her out for pizza and shopping. 

"Aaaaaa!  This pizza is sooo good!!  Thanks mom and dad for leaving those stinky boys at home!  Please sir, may I have some more??!!"

What a fantastic night!  Pizza, shopping, coffee shop. 

Well........here's how date night ended.

Whaaa??  Wait a minute!  Hold the bus!  Those sheets look familiar!  Oh yes.  That is our bed.  Remember earlier?  "I am soooo happy for this sleepover!"  Well, as we drove home at 10:45ish pm, he said "Why did you leave me at that sleepover?!"
